Chef Philip Schaedler has recognized revenue worldwide and has been awarded as "Chef of the Year" by Veja Manaus Eating and Drinking for 3 consecutive years, the first being in 2011. He also received an honor merit in 2012 directly from the hands of the then president Brazil, Dilma Rousself, called "Order of Cultural Merit" for spreading the cuisine and, consequently, the Brazilian culture.
Before the gastronomic recognition, Banzeiro also received awards from Manaus See Eating and Drinking: Best Regional Cuisine for 5 consecutive times, the first being in 2010 and the best Rib Tambaqui in 2011.
The Banzeiro Amazon Kitchen offers the best in Amazonian cuisine and its key revenue as tambaqui rib, filet arapaima or peacock bass are prepared in unique and exclusive way, with genuine flavors of the Chef.
The term "Banzeiro", which gives its name to the restaurant, is widely used in the Amazon for the waves that form in rivers, especially after the passage of vessels.
