We perform the four duties of a museum: collecting, preserving, researching and exhibiting. Occasionally we add to the existing collections taking care as to how we proceed. It is part of our basic responsibility to protect the objects in the collections from decay and to preserve them for future generations. We try to improve the accessibility of our collections so that they may be available for exhibitions and for researchers. It is very important to us that our treasures are made accessible to the public by staging attractive exhibitions.
